I wanna tell you about my spelling bee competition (yesterday and today). This is my second time I join spelling bee competition, actually I’ve ever joined it when I was in JHS. But It’s a lil bit different and I dunno the difference before I come to the technical meeting (TM) on Friday. I only need to write the answer (the spelled word) on a piece of paper when I was on JHS and the pronouncer is a native. But in this competition I’ve to spell by say the letters of each word. this competition consist of two round, preliminary and final round.

1^st day of course the preliminary round

I went to Fateta at 8:05. I thought I’ll be late but NOPE ^^ I went to the registration desk, put my sign, get some snacks and drink then enter the room (the opening ceremony room). After that I went to the spelling bee room (hmm..) then waited..waited..and waited until the competition began. You know what, I was the first participant for this competition so I get the LUCKY NUMBER ONE to perform (??), but I was really lucky cause there’s someone that gonna be the first contestant because of something, so I was the second. Several minutes later..

“Sergi Roseli” hffh, the committee already called my name so I went forward take the lottery and “fight” with that 5 words. Okay it’s over then, I didn’t think about to be a winner.

A night passed

2^nd day (seminar and final round)

I went to AMN (a place that I dunno before). In the morning the committee already announced who are the contestant that qualified to final round and you know they mentioned MY NAME, hmmmmmmhhh I really really surprised and happy of course. I did something silly, “why I have to raise my hand?” until now I still ask myself that question.
